Texas Middle School Fluency Assessment (TMSFA) is a diagnostic assessment for middle school students. This stand alone training is for 7th grade teachers needing to assess students who did not pass the 6th grade TAKS reading exam based on the rulings of HB 2237, Section 6. Teachers will learn the components in the Texas Middle School Fluency Assessment (TMSFA). The TMSFA was developed as part of the Texas Adolescent Literacy Academy (TALA) training.
