This one-day institute provides practical solutions to day-to-day inclusive challenges, focusing on effective collaboration and instructional practices to better support students with disabilities in the general education classroom.
LeAnn Nickelsen's morning workshop will be "Deeper Learning: 7 Powerful Strategies for In-Depth and Longer-Lasting Learning" based on the book with the same title that she co-authored with Eric Jensen.
The cost of the institute, $55 per attendee, includes lunch on site and six months access to the Virtual Conference recorded and archived sessions. Afternoon breakout sessions will focus on the needs of content area general education teachers as well as the needs of the special education teacher in the inclusive classroom.
