Portal to the Universe
Presented by the Texas Space Grant Consortium, this workshop is intended for teachers in grades 4-8. Topics covered include: our solar system, Sun-Earth connections, seasons, Earth-Moon comparisons, phases of the Moon, gravity, our place in the Milky Way, other galaxies and our place in the universe. TEKS covered will include 6.11A-C, 7.9A-B, 8.7A-C, and 8.8A-E.
