The School Ready Back-to-School Conference is designed for teachers of 3-5 year old children who work in ISD pre-k classrooms, child care, and Head Start programs.
Jumpstart your school year with a day of networking with colleagues and sessions packed with practical ideas to develop and sustain rich learning centers all year long! Participants will set their own conference schedules, choosing from sessions on every learning center. Teachers of all levels will learn new ideas to:
- stock centers on a budget
- make center materials from household items
- integrate literacy into centers
- sustain interest in centers over time
- support English Language Learners and children with special needs
This conference is designed for teachers of 3-5 year old children who work in ISD pre-k or PPCD classrooms, child care, and Head Start programs. Districts are encouraged to send their entire Pre-K teams. Lunch will be provided.
