The 12th Annual Differentiation Institute featuring Brian Housand

LEFT TO THEIR OWN DEVICES: TECHNOLOGY, TEACHERS, AND TODAY'S  YOUTH

Today we have unprecedented access to technologies that were barely imaginable a few years ago. However, when our best and brightest students are left to their own devices, the full potential of these powerful tools nor of our gifted students is seldom achieved. This workshop examines how the worlds of technology, gifted education, and digital youth can be meaningfully united to create a new vision of what it means to demonstrate creative productive giftedness. Together we will explore a virtual playground designed to get teachers and students plugged into new creative outlets.
