ADHD and Oppositionality: Managing Externalizing Behaviors

The At-Risk Services Network is designed to keep school personnel up-to-date and informed on best practices related to at-risk students. The network will provide the opportunity for school personnel from all areas to keep informed, share information and resources, and build a network of support with other campuses and districts.

Students with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, or verbally or physically aggressive behavior present tremendous challenges in the classroom. Understanding the underlying causes of these behaviors can be helpful in designing and implementing effective interventions. This workshop will look at the characteristics of these challenging diagnoses and explore best-practice interventions to address the accompanying behaviors.

Trainings within the At-Risk Services Network are free for districts with At-Risk Services Network membership. Non-members may also register for this workshop.
