Texas Education Agency (TEA) has made online resources available to Texas public schools and open enrollment charter schools through the TexasSUCCESS initiative.
TexasSUCCESS includes scientifically validated and research-based online programs to target the prevention of academic failure in mathematics and reading in the following service categories:
- Math Grades 3–8 & Algebra I (Think Through Math)
- Reading Grades 3–5 (Istation) (Istation Espanol available for 3rd grade)
- Reading Grades 6–8 (Compass Learning)
- English I & II (Apex Learning)
Representatives from each of the 4 companies will provide training for district staff to facilitate effective implementation of these resources into instruction.
These training sessions will be BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). A limited number of laptops will be available for participants who do not have a device to bring.
Student success starts with crafting the right plan for using Think Through Math. This Training of Trainers (TOT) will walk you through the steps of a successful implementation.
Session Audience: Novice Users - The session will include group collaboration and implementation planning. Participants will leave with a plan in hand to launch TTM.
Session Overview:
This session will get teachers engaged and excited about the first step for a successful implementation of TTM. The session will include key features and functions that teachers will be able to effectively navigate such as dashboards, enroll students, manage learning pathways, review progress reports, support student motivation, and encourage basic journaling.
