At-Risk Services Network: Ethics & Problem Solving with At-Risk Students

The At-Risk Services Network is designed to keep school personnel up-to-date and informed on best practices related to at-risk students. The network will provide the opportunity for school personnel from all areas to keep informed, share information and resources, and build a network of support with other campuses and districts.

School-based helping professionals encounter challenging situations on a daily basis. This workshop will focus on the ethics of interventions in complex situations. Three goals include a brief review of the codes of conduct, common ethical dilemmas and supervision and self-care strategies for helping professionals.
