At-Risk Services Network: Educating the Difficult Student

The At-Risk Services Network is designed to keep school personnel up-to-date and informed on best practices related to at-risk students. The network will provide the opportunity for school personnel from all areas to keep informed, share information and resources, and build a network of support with other campuses and districts.

It can be challenging to work with students who are openly defiant and engaging in anti-social and harmful behaviors. Students with conduct disorder are highly visible, demonstrating a complicated group of behavior and emotional problems. We’ll review symptoms, behaviors, educational implications, strategies, and classroom accommodations for the most challenging student.
