At-Risk Services Network: When Panic Attacks: the ABCs of Anxiety Disorders

The At-Risk Services Network is designed to keep school personnel up-to-date and informed on best practices related to at-risk students. The network will provide the opportunity for school personnel from all areas to keep informed, share information and resources, and build a network of support with other campuses and districts.

Anxiety is a common feeling that impacts most students at one time or another. One out of four children and youth will experience an anxiety disorder sometime before the age of 18. One out of twenty will have severe symptoms from anxiety that impair their ability to learn. This workshop highlights the common signs, symptoms and treatment options for children and youth with anxiety disorders.
