UDL Institute 2019: Inclusive Practices for All - Live Online Broadcast

UDL Institute: Inclusive Practices for All

Dr. Kristan Rodriguez will present a one-day Universal Design for Learning (UDL) training targeting both general and special education PK-12 teachers and administrators.  The content will address foundational concepts of UDL, as well as the role of UDL in inclusive practices and personalized learning.  There will be learning options for participants who are novices as well as those who are building capacity on their campuses.

UDL is a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights into how humans learn. The UDL framework guides the design of instructional goals, assessments, methods, and materials that can be customized and adjusted to meet individual needs. This proactive approach removes learning barriers by considering the natural variability of how students learn, and allows all students to have access to the general education curriculum.

You can participate in our UDL Institute 2019 from home!  Our full-day workshop will be live streamed (not recorded). On that morning, you will simply log in to your ecampus account to access and participate in our day of learning.  You will receive a reminder the day before.
