2/7/08 Civil Rights.  Civil Rights is one of the pivotal stories of American history. From the very beginning conflict has arisen between the ideals set out in the Constitution and reality. This workshop examines the struggles and triumphs in our efforts toward individual rights through the eyes of those who were there. Participants will study primary source documents - and receive copies for use in the classroom - and hear from content experts to help provide historical context through history.
