U.S. History Series - Globalization
ESC Region XIII
7.00 CPE Credits
$85.00
The workshops in the U.S. history series provide in-depth content
information on U.S history eras/topics of study related to TEKS for the
high school U.S. History course "U.S. History Since
Reconstruction." Each workshop includes a content
presentation plus related primary source documents and lessons.
Is the world becoming increasingly "flat" as author Thomas L. Friedman
suggests? Following the Cold War the resources and raw materials of
Third World countries became the fodder for
the newest struggles - economic struggles. Where are these countries
now? Where are we? What was our role in getting here? What is our role
today and in the future? This workshops provides multiple perspectives
on these controversial topics that you can bring to your classroom.
