Instructional Materials Preview Center

Education Service Center Region 13 has instructional materials available to the public for preview. These are the materials that are under consideration for adoption into public school curriculum by the State Board of Education.

Materials Preview

Instructional materials samples are available for preview by districts and the public at ESC 13. The Proclamation 2014 Instructional Materials Preview Center dates give participants an opportunity to preview all instructional materials samples submitted for adoption by publishers to Region 13.

2015 materials are primarily electronic and/or digital as allowed by TEA, so no physical textbooks are available. The bulk of the materials are presented through online links with access to online textbooks while others are uploaded to our laptops from CDs. Some music samples are only available on disc and need to be accessed using our laptops.

Each date offers only three seats due to limited hardware and space. The laptops and materials will be set up in a small conference room at 9:00 am and will be available to participants until 4:00 pm. Teams larger than 3 participants may call 512-919-5137 for alternate arrangements.

These are materials only events and publishers will not be present. You can meet the publishers at our Instructional Materials Showcase on January 6-7, 2015.
