Welcome to the PBL Online Course, Assessment Rubrics. This is part of a series of courses to support you in understanding and implementing PBL, Project based learning, in your classroom.
In this course you will learn:
- that a rubric is designed so that it is aligned to standard, connected to the final product, and transparent to students.
- that a rubric is used to evaluate students both individually and as a group.
- how to facilitate student use of rubrics for self assessment.
We hope that you will use this course to create a new PBL project or to refine an existing project.
