Introduction to PEIMS
This workshop is designed for personnel new to PEIMS. The session will focus on student data. An orientation to the tools of the trade will include explanations of both hard-copy and online primary and secondary PEIMS-related resources including internal policies and procedures, PEIMS Data Standards, Student Attendance Accounting Handbook, TREX Data Standards, TEA's annual attendance letter, the Texas Education Code, and the Texas Administration Code. A review/preview of content covered in the ESC 13 PEIMS Coordinator meeting and the Fall and Mid-year PEIMS Records Training workshop will be included. Please understand that seats are reserved for those personnel who have been working with PEIMS for 3 or fewer years.
