BMC - Uniform Guidance, Maintenance of Effort Update and Template Training (Virtual Meeting) (SP1531976): 9:30 AM - 12:30

Uniform Guidance has risen to the forefront recently with the indirect cost rate extension. The focus of a brief discussion would be: What is Uniform Guidance? What areas might impact business office operations? LEAs receiving federal funds under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part B (IDEA-B) must meet fiscal compliance requirements regarding excess cost, maintenance of effort (MOE), voluntary reduction and coordinated early intervening services.

This session will provide an overview of these requirements; explore the methodologies for each; and discuss relationships between the requirements. The majority of the workshop will be used to assist LEAs in completing the new IDEA MOE Determination Tool.

YOU MUST BRING A LAPTOP COMPUTER AND THE FOLLOWING REPORTS TO BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE MOE TEMPLATE AT THE BMC MEETING:
