Accessing the General Curriculum in ELAR
Are you searching for instructional strategies to help all students in your ELAR class be successful?
In this workshop you will acquire tools and practice strategies for teaching grade-level English Language Arts and Reading content to all students, with a specific focus on differentiated reading and writing instruction.
In this workshop participants will explore tools and strategies for:
- making appropriate recommendations in ARD/504 meetings
- supporting differentiated instruction
- making appropriate accommodations and modifications
Through the development of the topics listed above for ELAR and special education teachers, this workshop is aimed at supporting teacher confidence and student success by focusing on how to develop access to the general curriculum for students with IEPs in the ELAR classroom.
This will be an engaging and fun session, with lots of hands-on activities and materials that you will be able to use in your classroom.
