Creating a Mindful Classroom

We are told as educators and professionals to not take anything personal when it comes to challenging behavior. But we are rarely taught how to do it.

We are told as educators and professionals to juggle more tasks than there are hours in the day. But we are rarely taught how to do it.

There is a way to learn how to do both of these things, and to pass the skills on to your classroom. Creating a Mindful Classroom will help teachers develop their own mindful practice and cultivate these skills in their daily work with children. In addition, participants will learn how to integrate mindful activities and moments in to their routines.

Activities and information will be provided on how to explicitly train attention, the development of emotionally positive states, and self regulation of impulses.
