The Impact Cycle with Jim Knight

Just as teachers need coaches to help them learn and use new teaching strategies, coaches, administrators and other educators need coaches to help them develop and support flourishing coaching programs.

Region 13 is proud to offer Dr. Jim Knight's extensive knowledge and expertise that comes from over twenty years of research and study of Instructional Coaching. This series of one-day workshops is part of the Region 13's Jim Knight Instructional Coaching Institute, which can be taken as the intensive five-day institute, or independently as individual workshops.

The Impact Cycle

Based on the book The Impact Cycle, this workshop describes the coaching cycle we suggest for instructional coaches. It moves participants through all three phases of the Impact Cycle with videow, conversations, practice and instruction including PEERS goals, Identify questions, modeling and strategy work. This training also includes complexities of helping as well as Partnership Principles.

Participants will receive a copy of The Impact Cycle and The Reflection Guide to The Impact Cycle.
