Peer Mediation and Conflict Resolution
COVID-19 UPDATE: This event is now being presented online via Zoom ONLY. Connection details will be emailed out.

Region 13 is proud to conduct a three day TOT peer mediation and conflict resolution training.  Team of two adults is recommended and students are welcome to attend but not required.

In peer mediation, a trained youth acts as neutral mediator helping parties in conflict to understand the root causes of their dispute and to ultimately agree on a plan for resolving the conflict.   Each individual mediation consists of six distinct stages:

  1. Agree to Mediate
  1. Storytelling and Gathering Points of View
  1. Focus on Interests and Needs
  1. Create Win-Win Solutions
  1. Evaluate Options
  1. Create an Agreement
