Understanding the Addiction Cycle in Adolescents
Mental Health Series Virtual Workshop #4

Whether in the form of drugs or alcohol, addiction is a growing public health concern among American teenagers. There are different perceptions centered around substance use. Some of these ideas can lead to a belief that a person who is struggling with addiction to a substance may have had one drink or tried an illicit drug one time and immediately became addicted. However, the reality is a bit more complex than that, particularly for adolescents.

Join us in learning more about the addiction cycle in adolescents and how you can help our youth struggling with substance use.
