Teaching Students Who Can't Talk: Supporting Communication Impairments in the Classroom
The ability to communicate meaningfully is fundamental to a full life including social and academic progress. When students do not have well-developed expressive communication, it is up to educators to establish and implement augmentative and alternative communication instruction.
This session is designed for educators to learn to support the communication and instruction of students with significant and complex communication needs. Participants will receive electronic resources that will facilitate team building and classroom implementation.
***Registered participants will receive a link for the zoom meetings attached to this workshop the day before the first meeting.
