Integrating Technology & Learning:

Monthly Self-Directed Virtual Workshop Series 

A new session is available each month featuring a new device agnostic technology paired with a curricular connection that works in virtual, hybrid, and face-to-face classrooms and can be adapted for all grade levels K-12 and all subject areas.

As new and emerging technologies transform the landscape of education, the possibilities for virtual, blended, and in-person learning and discovery grow exponentially. Teaching today's technologically savvy students requires you to have knowledge, strategies, and skills to create an effective and motivational learning environment through the integration of technologies for learning.  It can also enhance learning, improve motivation and engagement, increase accessibility, individualize instruction, and improve communication with parents and stakeholders.

  • General understanding of game based learning theory
  • Experience with using game based learning from the student perspective
  • Web 2.0 resources that are effective in teaching and learning with game based learning
  • Understanding of how game based learning can aid in differentiating instruction and easing classroom managment
