Participants will learn basic components and evaluation tools for conducting a functional behavior assessment, developing behavior intervention plans, and incorporating these data into student evaluations. Participants will also learn about a variety of instruments based in applied behavior analysis that are commonly used for individuals with autism spectrum disorders or other developmental disabilities. The presenter will provide information related to the research supporting the use of these instruments in practice and how to use assessment data to develop IEPs.
