Constructed Response Deep-Dive January 2022
This workshop is for principal candidates only.

Come “construct with us” in a safe and supportive learning environment that will provide you with strategies to increase your confidence on how to approach the four Constructed Response (CR) items on the Principal as Instructional Leader 268 certification test.

The Constructed Response items are worth 40% of the overall test score, so preparing for these questions is a crucial part of studying for your exam!

We’ll start the day off by diving into what a Constructed Response item requires and the styles of writing that are needed: descriptive, analytical, and reflective.

Then we’ll look closely at the CR rubric and several CR examples. You’ll learn to self-assess your writing and you’ll also receive written feedback on your practice attempts.

Finally, we will close the training with discussion about how you can use what you have learned about the Constructed Response items to support you with PASL work as well. We hope to see you there!

In order to cancel without being charged for this workshop, you must do so at least 5 business days prior to the workshop. If you'd like to reschedule for the same workshop at a later date, you'll be required to cancel according to cancellation policy, as well as register as new for the new date.
