Join the Distance Learning Team each month to connect your students with STE(A)M career professionals in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Hear from the experts how what students are learning in school today translates into career opportunities tomorrow.
The S.T.E. (A).M Careers Explorer Series provides teacher the oppportunity to connect their students with STE(A)M professionals each month. Each session provides teachers with :
- Pre, Featured, Follow Up and Extension teacher resources to complement each S.T.E. (A).M Careers Explorer interview
- Teacher resources are provided to encourage students to research the interviewee's career and come ready to ask questions
- We provide TEKS connections for every S.T.E. (A).M Careers Explorer interview
- We provide technology connection resources that correlate with each of the S.T.E. (A).M Careers Explorer interviews
- Each interview session come complete with Literature Connections providing reading extentions about each career
- Social-emotional components and resources are provided to pair with each S.T.E. (A).M Careers Explorer interview
