The Campus Behavior Coordinator is responsible for maintaining behavior and discipline while adhering to the Student Code of Conduct and TEC Chapter 37.   This series of trainings is designed to support the Behavior Coordinator by providing clarity, options, and resources to support students and staff with discipline and safety.  Each training is only two hours long followed by an optional networking lunch to discuss the training topic or other issues around behavior and discipline.  Please join these informative zoom sessions to ensure you are providing best practice strategies and processes.

The training is divided up into 4 parts throughout the year.  Each part is two hours followed by an hour networking lunch opportunity to discuss any behavior coordinator topics.  Sign up for any or all sessions individually to meet your learning and availability needs.

Part 1 (10/29/21) will be covering the TEC Chapter 37 laws and regulations.  Administrators and CBCs are required to have this training every three years.

Part 2 (11/5/21) will be covering creating coaching partnerships with teachers to improve classroom management and behavior.

Part 3 (1/7/22) will be covering the cycle of escalation and how to respond during a crisis.
