In this workshop teachers will:
Unpack the science process standards to see their vertical progression as students move from middle to high school sciences.
Explore high-impact strategies to support students with inferences, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and experimental design.
Participate in hands-on activities that model the embedding of science process standards with high-impact strategies in regards to force and motion, matter and energy, and organisms and environments.
Proactively plan to embed these strategies into the upcoming unit of study.
