Utilizing Mastery Checks in Reading by Design
In this session you will delve deeper into each component of the Mastery Checks embedded within the Reading by Design program. We will review using the Mastery Checks for progress monitoring as well as guidance in program placement. You will learn best practices for administering a mastery check efficiently and discuss how to interpret the data. We will also explore ways to effectively review and reteach areas of concern.
This training is for teachers who are currently using the Reading by Design program. Participants should bring at least two of their Reading by Design volumes with them to the session.
