Istation AM Spring: Intermediate/ Advanced Users

Texas Education Agency (TEA) has made online resources available to Texas public schools and open enrollment charter schools through the TexasSUCCESS initiative.

TexasSUCCESS includes scientifically validated and research-based online programs to target the prevention of academic failure in mathematics and reading in the following service categories:

  • Math Grades 3–8 & Algebra I (Think Through Math)
  • Reading Grades 3–5 (Istation) (Istation Espanol available for 3rd grade)
  • Reading Grades 6–8 (Compass Learning)
  • English I & II (Apex Learning)

Representatives from each of the 4 companies will provide training for district staff to facilitate effective implementation of these resources into instruction.

These training sessions will be BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). A limited number of laptops will be available for participants who do not have a device to bring.

Istation trainer of trainers (TOT) will provide participants access to our comprehensive eLearning program used by more than four million students and educators around the world. Known for its accurate assessments, engaging curriculum, and trusted teacher tools, Istation helps students achieve academic growth.

Session objectives:

Are you a more advanced user of Istation? Are you ready to really dig into your own Istation reports and up your level of implementation?  In this course we will dive into essential reporting with Istation with a focus on data digging and data discussions.  Towards the end of the session, we will give heavy emphasis to extending Istation beyond the norm with a deep search of teacher support tools and recommendations for getting the most out of Istation.

Make sure to bring your own device and earbuds. Options are an iPad, Chromebook, or laptop (either Windows or Mac), along with the Istation app already loaded to your device.

Don’t forget your Istation login and password!
