In this session, participants will review eye tracking components including: calibration, positioning, eye tracking learning curve levels, and types of interaction required for a successful evaluation. Language options for eye tracking access will be presented using Compass and Communicator 5 software. Activities to address specific access and language objectives will be shared with participants. Personalization and differentiation of instructional materials will be discussed and demonstrated.
Learning Outcomes: Upon Completion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe eye tracking components required for a successful evaluation
- List types of eye tracking interaction
- Discuss levels of the eye tracking learning curve
- Compare language software options that implement eye tracking as an access method
