Teaching Java at A-Level and Marine Biology Case Study at A level

This workshop will concentrate on teaching Java at the "AB-Level" with a sequence of second-year assignments. A detailed teaching syllabus will be provided with a variety of evaluation techniques. Teaching the Marine Biology Case Study as a tool to learn Object Oriented Programming and test preparation will be emphasized with hands-on lab exercises, which focus on different MBCS "A & AB-Level" lab assignments.

This workshop is designed to help teachers prepare for the switch to teaching and testing AP Computer Science at the "AB-Level". Participants are expected to have completed a previous Java workshop or have a Java knowledge equivalent to the AP Computer Science "A-Level" curriculum.

This training is not endorsed by the College Board.
