The Hill Country Summer Institute will provide current information regarding evaluation issues. It is designed for Diagnosticians, Licensed Specialists in School Psychology, Speech Language Pathologists, and Educational Leaders with interest in evaluation issues.
Dr. Elaine Fletcher-Janzen will open the institute with a discussion focusing on the 5 principles of brain development that enhance student learning. This will be followed by breakout sessions focusing on classroom interventions, resolving conflict, issues related to evaluation of students for special education, web-based resources for special education, Response to Intervention, legal update and many more topics and issues related to special education.
