Spend the morning with world-renowned short story writer David Rice. David’s collection of short stories, Crazy Loco, received the American Library Association "Best Books for Young Readers" Award in 2001. Rice will show teachers how to get students writing powerful literary stories—in 26 lines or less! This workshop requires teachers to read 5 short stories prior to the workshop that Rice will discuss in detail. Teachers will also receive a copy of RIce's latest book Heart-Shaped Cookies.
