Teaching the Art of Persuasion (AKA Rhetoric)

Spend the day with St. Edward's professor Moriah McCracken. Moriah works with future teachers at the university, preparing them for the ELA classroom.  Learn what every teacher needs to know about rhetoric in order to prepare students for persuasive and analytical writing, critical non-fiction reading and college readiness. 

This Professional Development experience is considered to be a  CORE workshop.

·       Core Professional Development is considered foundational, the learning experiences are designed to be introductory in nature.

·       Core Professional Development is valuable for new teachers, teachers who are changing teaching assignments and teachers who are developing skills in a particular professional development pathway.

The registration fee for this training has been waived due to TEA funding through the TEKS PD grant.
