Science TEKS Overview for Grades K-12
Examine the new 2010 science TEKS to improve overall science instruction. Explore models of vertical alignment that strengthen participants' knowledge of science concepts and processes, leading to student success on statewide assessments and post-secondary readiness.   This workshop is a Core Professional Development (PD) Pathway. Core Workshops focus on high quality Tier 1 instruction and some Tier 2 intervention with supporting instructional strategies.

This workshop is for teachers in grades K-12

The registration fee for this training has been waived due to TEA funding through the TEKS PD grant. 
Registration will begin at 8:30 am and the sessions will begin promptly at 9:00 am each day (Unless noted otherwise). Due to requirements from TEA, attendance at these workshops is strictly monitored. You must be present the entire session, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, all days required, in order to receive full credit. If you cannot attend the full session, we suggest registering for another session at a time when you will be able to attend the entire workshop.


Stipends are no longer available for TEKS PD sessions.
