Algebra I EOC Success Academy II - 2 days [Joe Thompson Conference Center]

This training emphasizes research-based Tier II strategies from the IES Practice Guide for Struggling Students and engages participants in how to identify students needing Tier II support for focal areas in Algebra I and meet their instructional needs. Participants will learn how to interpret results of formative assessments; use these data and other forms of data to make instructional decisions; and apply practical strategies for implementing evidence-based interventions for students receiving Tier II mathematics support.

Participants are required to have completed an online or face-to-face Algebra I EOC Success training prior to enrolling in this Algebra I Academy II.  Participants will be asked to provide their completed Algebra I Prerequisite Form (available at http://www5.esc13.net/math/)  to document their completion of this prerequisite.

This workshop is a BUILDING professional development opportunity that reflects an integrated and progressive approach to curriculum that connects disciplines, and the instructional strategies that support this integration.
