Workshops in the Connections Series focus on ways to integrate content. These sessions will bring content to life as participants explore real world applications and examine ways to incorporate meaningful learning experiences for all students. Join us in Taylor ISD to explore measurement through Math and Science!
This training supports STAAR Category 4 in Math and its application through all Science Reporting Categories and builds the teacher content knowledge necessary to provide high quality Tier 1 instruction to elementary students. The focus for this day is on the big ideas of Measurement. Participants will explore instructional strategies that target these core ideas and explore practical classroom activities for developing these important measurement concepts. Connections will be made between the measurement standards for both math and science.
