Chemistry EOC Success

Explore ways to improve overall science instruction and student achievement in chemistry and support student success on the Chemistry End-Of-Course assessment. Participants will experience student-centered lessons that are framed in the research-based 5E instructional model and provide connections to the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), and the Response to Intervention (RtI) model. Participation in Project Share, the online professional development portal that promotes communication and collaboration among participants, will be included in the training. This two-day training will be offered in face-to-face formats.

This workshop is a Core Professional Development (PD) Pathway. Core Workshops focus on high quality Tier 1 instruction and some Tier 2 intervention with supporting instructional strategies.
The registration fee for this training has been waived due to TEA funding through the TEKS PD grant.

Registration will begin at 8:30 am and the sessions will begin promptly at 9:00 am each day (unless noted otherwise).  Due to requirements from TEA, attendance at these workshops is strictly monitored.  You must be present the entire session, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, all days required, in order to receive full credit.  If you cannot attend the full session, we suggest registering for another session at a time when you will be able to attend the entire workshop.
