Biology EOC Success

Examine the concepts in the 2010 Biology TEKS and learn strategies to prepare your students for success on the End of Course assessment during this three day professional development. Participants will explore hands-on, student-centered lessons framed in the research-based 5E instructional model. These sessions provide connections to and strengthen participants' knowledge of College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), and Response to Intervention (RtI).   This workshop is a Core Professional Development (PD) Pathway. Core Workshops focus on high quality Tier 1 instruction and some Tier 2 intervention with supporting instructional strategies.

The registration fee for this training has been waived due to TEA funding through the TEKS PD grant.
Registration will begin at 8:30 am and the sessions will begin promptly at 9:00 am each day (Unless noted otherwise). Due to requirements from TEA, attendance at these workshops is strictly monitored. You must be present the entire session, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, all days required, in order to receive full credit. If you cannot attend the full session, we suggest registering for another session at a time when you will be able to attend the entire workshop.

Stipends are no longer available for TEKS PD sessions.
