Chemistry EOC Success Part 2 - located in Round Rock

Build upon concepts, strategies and techniques developed in Chemistry EOC Success, Part 1.  Explore ways to improve chemistry instruction through deepening student understanding of major concepts in chemistry.  Participants will experience a student centered lesson that is framed in the research-based 5E instructional model, promotes student inquiry and supports student success on the Chemistry STAAR EOC.  Participants will analyze the lesson with respect to various components including connections to the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), English language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), and Response to Intervention (RtI).

This workshop is in Round Rock at Stony Point High School.  It is open to all educators in Region XIII.
