Evidence Based Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities

There is agreement that identifying and using effective practices with learners with significant cognitive disabilities, specifically those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is “best practice”.  This workshop will identify evidence-based practices in the field of ASD which can be applied to a variety of children with significant cognitive disabilities.  Participants will leave knowing what an evidence-based intervention is and how to locate resources related to evidence-based practices.
