Sensational Sensory Routines for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities
Students need a variety of classroom routines: academics, self-care, leisure and social; and they also need sensory routines that support readiness for learning. Concepts of sensory processing will be discussed in relation to its impact on motor coordination, language skills and social interactions of children. Participants will engage in a variety of prescriptive sensory routines and will learn skills and strategies they can immediately use in their classrooms.
