Have you been patiently waiting for the arrival of the new CSCOPE Social Studies lessons? Here's your chance to meet them! Participants will spend time perusing the new user-friendly CSCOPE online platform and will examine the newly released 1st Six Weeks unit lessons. The ins and outs of the new lessons will be explored with connections made to the required state standards and CSCOPE curriculum. Teachers should come prepared to spend time planning and preparing for the first six weeks of school.
This workshop is a K-12 Social Studies staff development. Both workshops on August 7 and August 13 are the same.
(Note: A limited number of laptops will be available for use on this day. If you have a personal or school issued laptop, feel free to bring it with you.)

Core Professional Development is considered foundational, the learning experiences are designed to be introductory in nature. Core professional development is valuable for new teachers, teachers who are changing teaching assignments and teachers developing skills in a particular professional development pathway.
