Region 13 is proud to bring back the STAAR Distinguished Speakers Series. Join us monthly this fall and winter as we bring you fascinating workshops that prepare literacy educators for the rigor of the STAAR. We welcome these highly sought-after presenters: Gretchen Bernabei (Sept. 6), Empowering Writers (Sept. 20), Melanie Mayer (Oct. 4), Charles Fuhrken (Oct. 18), Jeff Anderson (Nov. 8), Harvey "Smokey" Daniels (Dec. 6), and Kelly Gallagher (Jan. 10).
