1. AppliTrack & Forms 101 - Paul Montgomery
ESC Region 13 is proud to offer the AppliTrack system for your Paperless hiring and Employee Management needs. We’ll review how AppliTrack and ESC Region 13 have partnered to provide comprehensive, powerful and easy to use Applicant Tracking for all its’ member schools and districts. We’ll show how the ESC 13 system draws applicants as well as the National, Regional and local job advertising provided through www.K12JobSpot.com .
Paul will also provide an introduction to eForms, creating new eForms, modifying existing eForms from the Public Forms Library, adding images to eForms, adding file links to eForms and eForms workflow setup. He will show how the eForm process allows districts to create forms in the Applitrack system that they can send to applicants and new hires. The system includes many TX forms already created in the AppliTrack Public Forms Library so that you don’t need to build them from scratch.
As a member of ESC Region 13, you receive special pricing and services through our consortium.
- Charter Schools take note! Prices range from FREE (0- 99 students), to $150/yr (up to: 399 students)
- Districts: Prices start at FREE (0- 99 students) and scale based on enrollment.

2. Compassion Fatigue in Educators - Sherry DiMarco, LCSW, Region 13 Social Worker/At-Risk Specialist
Compassion Fatigue refers to a decrease in a person's capacity to empathize with those who are suffering. While the study of Compassion Fatigue started with the medical profession, it is well documented that the teaching profession is being heavily impacted as well. When Compassion Fatigue is not addressed, the individual experiences high absenteeism, cynicism, inflexibility, conflict, hopelessness, and resistance to change. Chronic Compassion Fatigue can lead to burn-out and teachers leaving the profession. This workshop helps teachers and other school staff to identify Compassion Fatigue in themselves and others, develop strategies for self-care, and develop effective support systems.
