Strategic Instruction Model Potential Professional Developer's Institute provides 5 days of workshops on becoming a certified trainer for the Strategic Instruction Model Content Enhancement Routines or Learning Strategies.
The Institute is followed by a one year apprenticeship. On completion of those requirements the individual is eligible to become a certified SIM Professional Developer.
All teachers who have taught the SIM® Learning Strategies and completed the portfolio requirements can attend the Summer Institute for Potential Professional Developers in SIM® Learning Strategies.
