Data analysis of past released test questions and strategies to change instruction.
Which questions are students missing on the Algebra 1 EOC? We will look at state, regional, and classroom data from the released 2013 and 2014 Algebra 1 tests and relate that to the current math TEKS for 8th grade, current 2014-15 Algebra 1 TEKS and new 2015-16 math TEKS for Algebra 1. Teachers will take away strategies and a data planning tool they can use in the classroom to help all of their students. Please bring your data from your classroom from last year and this year's benchmarks if possible.
This workshop is geared towards 8th grade math teachers and High School Algebra 1 teachers.
