TEA has developed the STAAR Alternate 2 assessment to assess students in grades 3–8 and high school who have significant cognitive disabilities and are receiving special education services. The 2014-15 test is a different test from previous years. - 2014-15 Participation Requirements
- Allowable Accommodations for STAAR Alternate 2
- STAAR Alternate 2 Medical Eligibility Exception and Liability Requirements
- STAAR Alternate 2 No Authentic Academic Response (NAAR) Eligibility Requirements
- Sample Test Questions
- Testing Timelines
- Planning instruction using the Essence Statements, TEKS Curriculum Framework and TEKS Vertical Alignments
